A BIG thank you!

Our recently formed Keith FC under 13s team have been given a £250 grant from the KBM Community Charity Fund. The cheque was presented to Dod Simmers, Keith FCs Head of Youth and U13s Manager by Jeff Smith, Managing Director of KBM

Keith Builders Merchants give money to local worthy causes each month, which can be vital to keeping the organisations going.

For Jeff Smith, Managing Director at KBM, supporting local sports clubs is a no-brainer.

He said: “KBM appreciates the community value of sport, not only for the health and wellbeing aspects but also for the way it brings communities closer together while participating as volunteers or playing.

“We are proud to sponsor Keith FC, Forres Mechanics, Buckie Thistle, Deveronvale and Turriff United in the Highland League as well as supporting youth football in both Keith and Turriff.

The KBM community fund has a total of £400 per month to distribute from its Forres (£150) and Keith (£250) branches and applicants can apply for part or all of that month’s funding. So far in 2018, £2800 has been given to worthy causes in the area.
